Section 3 & Housing Expo!

The Section 3 and Housing Expo is the end of year annual gathering to assist Resident Owned Enterprises and MBE's with a guided map as to how to access and navigate the billions of contracting dollars available through HUD's federal public housing entities.

This virtual convening was created to bring HUD's Section 3 Registry to life. Understanding that the "greatest extent feasible" efforts must go beyond an e-blast to registered Section 3 business concerns, the Section 3 ME quarterly tradeshow will help close the gaps of more than $16 million per week in wages for low-income (Section 3) residents.

Event Platform FAQ's

Currently, we are able to offer our events FREE! All events are open to the public. We are thankful for our sponsors and exhibitors who help keep the events FREE.
All videos are moved to the "On-Demand" tab of the platform. Simply click on the tab to access videos from previous events.
On the day of the event, be sure to watch the video in the middle of the Lobby. It will give you an overview of the platform and up to date information on where everything is.
All live sessions take place in the "Auditorium". You can access these sessions simply by clicking on "Auditorium" from the lobby area and or at the top of the menu toolbar.
Each event is different, so be sure to visit the "Prize Center" for details. This tab is also located at the top of the menu toolbar.
After each event, winners are sent a form to complete with details on when to expect their prize and or cash gift winnings.

Once you secure your booth with payment, you will receive an email from our Vfairs team with a link to set up your booth. Setting up booths is very simple. In the event, you need technical assistance, please reach out to our Sales team at robiconnect@canilive.org
Each booth includes the following items:
  • Company logo and profile
  • Contact information
  • Links to upcoming bids / Proposals
  • Social Media Networking
  • Video presentations
  • Upload Documents
  • Photos, etc.
This is optional. It depends on how you would like to engage attendees. We can customize creative ways to increase booth traffic. Please reach out to the sales team for assistance at robiconnect@canilive.org
The content you leave at your booth will be visible for attendees. So, please be sure to keep this information current and up to date (i.e. email, phone, etc.).
If you choose to man your booth, please let your sales team rep know this upon setting up your booth.
This event platform is open 24/7. Attendees who register are granted full and unlimited access to videos, workshops, and resources. Be sure to keep the contents of your booth current and up to date with your latest news and projects.
Attendees accessing the site after or in between events can find "resources" by simply clicking the "resources" tab located at the top of the menu toolbar.
Resources change and or become outdated. Be sure to download your resources as soon as they are made available. Resources not available in the resource center may be available at a Vendor's Exhibit Booth
Yes, this is optional. Please let a member of our sales team know that you will want this feature enabled at your booth on the day of the event.
Also, please note, if you desire to have "virtual office hours" on specific days of the week, let us know. Our team can work with you to enable this great benefit.
